Fairfield Halls
BH Live is recruiting for Casual Technicians to join our busy team based at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, with a focus on support over the festive season, pantomime and beyond.
Fairfield Halls is an iconic arts, events and conference venue, which hosts a year-round programme of events including concerts, cultural performances, musicals and plays, conferences and exhibitions, business events, retail catering and banquets.
In particular, we’re recruiting crew roles for pantomime, including:
· Stage Crew
· Followspot Operators
· Sound/LX Board Operators
· Flyman
· Assist with the safe Get-in, operation and get-out of productions and events.
· Operate and programme AV, and design lighting and sound for productions and events as required.
· Assist with ensuring that in-house equipment is in good order, maintained and stored correctly.
· Participate in training as and when required.
· Work in a role that requires manual handling, lifting, and working at heights.
• Experience of Technical work with live events.
• A basic understanding of technical equipment & systems used on live events.
• To have a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills.
• To be able to work well as part of a team and be self-motivated.
