The role:


BH Live is recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at BH Live Active – Littledown.


You will supervise a team of cleaners and make sure that our centre is cleaned to a high standard. This is a customer-facing role, and you will need to enjoy working alongside our customers and provide great customer service.


You will work closely with our Customer Operations Managers and ensure you manage rotas so that there is sufficient cover, and the workload is distributed fairly.


This is a hands-on role, and you will be required to clean alongside your team.

You will:

• Lead our housekeeping team by undertaking cleaning duties alongside them, ensuring that they are kept motivated and achieve set standards and objectives.

• Ensure complaints regarding housekeeping standards are kept to a minimum and will work on resolving any complaints received.

• Establish a good liaison with our facilities teams, to ensure maintenance faults are reported proactively.

• Monitor the daily duties and responsibilities of the housekeeping team, ensuring records are maintained and reporting any issues to the Customer Operations Manager.



To be successful you will need:

  • Previous housekeeping/cleaner experience within either a Leisure or Hospitality/Hotel environment.
  • Experience in supervising, directing, and co-ordinating front-line staff.
  • Be able to motivate a team.
  • Great attention to detail
