The role:
BH Live is recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to join our onsite Senior Leadership Team, to lead a team and oversee the daily operations at Fairfield Halls. We operate Fairfield Halls in partnership with Croydon Council, and the venue includes the 809-seat Ashcroft Theatre, the world-class 1,802-seat Concert Hall, and The Recreational a 750-capacity standing live music venue. Additional studio space is available in the adjoining Community Cube.
As well as entertainment and shows, Fairfield Halls remains a popular venue for hosting orchestral and theatrical rehearsals, filming, recordings, conferences, exhibitions, and hospitality events. More recently, the venue has welcomed more than 36,000 visitors attending conferences and business events and hosted more than 190 cultural ticketed events.
This position is responsible for managing various functions, including Hospitality Operations, Event Operations, and Ticketing. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Senior Operations Manager will collaborate on venue delivery and business development.

You will:
· Lead and manage our operations team including recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
· Oversee compliance checks and ensure completion.
· Ensure the smooth handover of events and lead on the logistical planning to make sure events are delivered successfully.
· Manage the day-to-day venue operation of Fairfield Halls ensuring guest experience is priority.
To be successful you will need:
· Experience of leading a successful team and delivering operations within a similar venue.
· Be able to manage multiple projects and prioritise your work to ensure successful delivery.
· Experience of ensuring teams deliver great customer service.
· A good knowledge of health and safety, event related compliance and industry legislation.
Due to the nature of our business, you will be required to work unsociable hours that will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
