The role:
BH Live is recruiting for a Casual Track and Cycling Co-ordinator, you will be based at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth.
The hours for this role will be variable, and you will need to cover our busy periods over the summer period and be available to work during athlete and cycling nights.
You will:
- Ensure all equipment and grounds in the outside areas are safe, clean and tidy, with daily, weekly and monthly checks.
- To ensure all athletics equipment is maintained in line with UKA regulations and stored safely ready for training and competitions.
- To ensure the cycle track is safe and clean of any debris and hazards for cycle training and events.
- Track co-ordinator on the day of athletic events, setting up and packing away equipment in line with the track and field programme and equipment requests, liaising with officials and meet organisers to ensure the smooth running of the competition.
- Be present on Athletic and cycling nights as a point of contact.
- To help maintain bikes for weekly sessions that take place.
- Assist the recreation team with changeovers in the hall and set ups.
- To attend staff training as and when required.
- To complete additional tasks as requested by the management team.
You will need:
- Good organisation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Athletics and cycling.
Due to the nature of our business hours of work will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
