The role:

BH Live is seeking a volunteer to help us keep a record of shows past and present held at Bournemouth Pavilion.

If you have some hours spare and a love of the theatre, we would love to hear from you.

You will be based at the Bournemouth Pavilion, which is a Grade II listed venue that opened in March 1929. and has a 1,500-seat theatre and full-sized ballroom.

The venue hosts a year-round diverse programme of events and entertainment such as musicals, opera, ballet, pantomime, comedy, dances and fashion shows. Gala dinners, banquets, receptions, fairs, corporate presentations, product launches, conferences and exhibitions.

You will:

• Sort and receive marketing posters, programmes, posters and flyers of current and past shows held in the Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom.

• Update and maintain a filing system & data base using Excel.

• Help tidy and maintain the archive room.

• Receive and reply to historic email enquires.

You will need:

• To be computer literate with a good understanding of Excel.

• Have a strong interest in Theatre.

• Be based locally with some knowledge of the Pavilion.

• Have some hours to spare.
